In 2014, I walked away from a 25-year career in high-tech sales. It had provided for my family, challenged me, and shaped much of who I was. But I couldn’t ignore the feeling that something essential was missing. I was living a life that looked successful from the outside but didn’t feel right on the inside.

The process of building relationships and brainstorming with other professionals fosters a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie that frankly, you can’t find through AI. Don’t get me wrong, AI and ChatGPT are great in their own way, but they cannot take the place of genuine human interaction.

I wanted to paint masterpieces, write stories that would fill libraries, and dance like I belonged on the world’s brightest stage. But life happened. Slowly but surely, those dreams faded into the background, overshadowed by bills, responsibilities, and the grind of 'real life'.
